Based on Matthew Quick’s young adult novel, Netflix’s All Together Now tells the story of Amber Appleton, who fights to remain an optimist even when her personal life is far less stable than it appears on the surface. Working to support herself and her single mother and in the face of new obstacles that threaten her dreams for college, Amber must learn to lean on the strength of her chosen family to move forward.
All Together Now director Brett Haley enlists composer, singer-songwriter and Wild Cub member Keegan DeWitt for the score, the latest in a series of collaborations between the director and composer. A story of finding hope in the darkest of times, DeWitt’s score mirrors the delicately moving storyline with a spectrum of sound encompassing everything from drifting synths to anthemic drums. DeWitt was also tasked with creating a vocal track for the album, “Feels Like Home,” featuring All Together Now lead actress and star of Disney’s Moana, Auli’I Cravalho.
