Heated Rivalry (Original Series Soundtrack) Music by Peter Peter

Heated Rivalry Music By Peter Peter

Created by award-winning Canadian writer, director, and producer Jacob Tierney, Heated Rivalry is the epic story of hockey’s steamiest secret between two of the sport’s biggest stars, Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), whose rivalry is matched only by their magnetic pull toward each other. What starts as a secret fling between two rookies turns into a years-long journey of love, denial, and self-discovery.

Fresh off the viral explosion of the series and following the release of double single “Rivalry / It’s You,” Quebecois artist and composer Peter Peter now debuts the long-awaited original soundtrack, featuring 34 tracks from the series six episodes and original song “It’s You” which appears during episode 2.

Personally chosen by creator and showrunner Jacob Tierney, Peter Peter steps into scoring for the first time with a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. Tierney, who immersed himself in the composer’s solo work throughout preproduction, sought out Peter for his ability to blend melody-driven songwriting with atmospheric, synth-forward textures. That sensibility shapes the emotional core of the series, giving voice to its tension, longing, and intensity.

Across 34 tracks, the soundtrack moves with the same emotional sweep as the story itself. Gentle, aching themes trace the vulnerability and yearning between the two protagonists, while pulsing, techno-laced compositions drive the high-stakes energy of their rivalry on and off the ice. The result is a score that feels deeply human and cinematic, capturing the push and pull at the heart of the series.

Alongside the digital release announcement, Milan Records will also bring the soundtrack to physical formats later this year, including vinyl and CD formats – to be notified about the physical release when it is announced you can sign up using this form.

Heated Rivalry is playing worldwide on Crave (Canada), HBO Max/Max (U.S., Australia, and parts of Europe, Asia, Latin America), Sky/NOW (New Zealand, UK, Ireland), and Movistar+ (Spain) and the full soundtrack is available to stream here.
