Margaret Doll Rod made her name for herself in Detroit in the 90s with her glam / garage rock three-piece act The Demolition Doll Rods.The band opened for the likes of Iggy Pop, The Cramps, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. The band played a genre-crossing, minimalist Detroit rock style incorporating rhythm and blues and garage rock.
Heartthrob Chassis is her new three-piece act of Margaret Doll Rod. Director Nicolas Winding Refn uncovered her new material when working on his new cultural platform, www.bynwr.com . Arrhythmia is a collection of her most recent rock material. This is raw, spontaneous rock from one of the most free-spirited artist.
