Composer Spotlight: Cinco Paul
We’re thrilled to kick off this month’s Composer Spotlight series with Cinco Paul, known for his clever, humorous and nostalgic Broadway-esque music featured on the hit Apple TV musical series, Schmigadoon. Paul has curated a playlist of musical theater classics that served as his inspiration for the show’s whimsical songs.
Of his playlist curation, Paul says “This playlist features many of the musical theatre classics that inspired the songs of Schmigadoon!, written by giants like Rodgers & Hammerstein, Frank Loesser, Cole Porter, Stephen Schwartz, John Kander & Fred Ebb, and Stephen Sondheim, among others. I love these songs and listened to them constantly while working on both seasons of Schmigadoon!”
