| "No One Knows About Persian Cats" is a 2009 Iranian film directed by Bahman Ghobadi. The film follows the life of a pop duo, Take It Easy Hospital, which has just been released from prison for playing music. They decide to recruit band members, organize an illegal concert to pay for fake visas and leave the country. This film is a journey through the underground musical scene of Tehran. A mix between Once and Buena Vista Social Club in a country where being a musician is a constant danger, this film won The Special Jury Prize at the 2009 Cannes Festival and is released in the USA on April 13.
