introducing the dwights

About the Record
From director Cherie Nowland comes the story of young Tim, who’s finally found a girl. Now the only hurdle in their way is Tim’s mother, a one-time singer, part-time stand-up comic, and full-tim e diva that can’t understand why a boy would rather do anything else than help his mother. When Tim meets and falls for Jill, his home becomes a combat zone as his mother fears this new girl will “break up” the unique family unit she’s tried so hard to keep together.  A charming, bittersweet evocation of family dysfunction, the film will follow an aggressive platform release by Warner Independent Pictures starting July 4, 2007.

The music of Introducing The Dwights is a combination of timeless 50’s and 60’s songs and features the song Nutbush City Limits performed by Brenda Blethyn and Frankie J. Holden, as well as tracks by Patsy Cline, Janis Joplin, Little Richard, and more!
